Base:
- 140 g. butter
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 5 tsp sugar
- 230 g flour
Filling:
- 175 g butter
- 4 eggs
- 4 tbsp cocoa powder
- 340 grsugar
- 160 gdark chocolate
- 250 ml cream 10%
- 100 g chopped hazelnut
Topping: (I don’t cover)
- 400 ml of 35% cream
Base:
Combine butter with sugar.
Add flour and cocoa powder
Add 5 tablespoons cold water to make a dough.
Wrap pastry in foil and put in the fridge for 15 minutes
Press into bottom of a 24-26 cm pan.
Bake in preheated oven 190 ° C for 15 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove and cool.
Filling:
Beat butter with sugar.
Add eggs (one at a time), cocoa powder and mix.
Melt chocolate and cream together.
Add the chopped hazelnuts.
Mix all ingredients well.
Pour the filling into the prepared crust.
Bake (160 C) until set and cracked on top (like a brownie), about 40 minutes.
Let cool Mississippi Mud Pie slightly.
