So, this quick and healthy appetizer is a perfect recipe for unexpected quests.
P.S. Roasted Pears with Cheese work amazingly with wine. Need I say more?;))
- 150 g of semi-soft or firm cheese (Emmental, Gouda, Edam, Cheddar) | 1 1/2 cups
- 4 pears
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Sugar (optional)
Preheat the oven to 390 degrees F (200 С).
Cube cheese.
Slice pears lengthwise into halves.
Remove the core and seeds from each pear.
Mix in a small bowl pear pulp, cheese, egg yolk, salt, pepper and season with nutmeg.
Place the mix in the wells left by the removed cores.
Bake about 20 minutes.
